Unsung Heroes by Adam Russo

In the fall of 2022, I was approached by Adam Russo to participate in a short documentary featuring my work. I was familiar with Adam as he is fine guitar instrumentalist, particularly his work set in Algonquin Park. I didn’t know Adam was also a videographer, but I was happy that he was interested in my work. I had not done a video or extended interview in recent years..

Adam joined me at a concert in Burritt’s Rapids last November and recorded the concert and some conversations there. He then came to my house in the new year to conduct an interview and see my collection of recorded work, posters, and memorabilia. Adam had relaxed approach and his musical knowledge made the interview interesting.

When the video arrived in the spring I was very surprised by the unity of what he had assembled. It is a pretty accurate portrait of who and where I am at this stage of my life and career.
